Welcome to the Innovation Wiki of Australia — with the aspiration to be a Knowledge Graph linking Australia's innovation ecosystem: the people, technologies, institutions, and outcomes that usually stay disconnected, scattered across press releases, dead links, and orphaned PDFs.

Australia's biggest innovation challenge isn't a lack of achievement. It's Knowledge Diffusion — knowledge that exists but can't be found, by a person or increasingly by the AI systems now doing first-pass research for policymakers, journalists, and funders.

This wiki exists to fix that: pages built around explicit provenance and stated relationships between entities, not just isolated facts.

A note on who this site is actually for. This layout isn't built for consumers browsing for a good read — it's built for creators and curators, and for the AI systems that will do most of the actual reading. Much like Wikipedia today: most people who benefit from it never visit wikipedia.org directly, they encounter its knowledge secondhand, through search results and AI answers built on top of it. This wiki works the same way. If you're here as a human, you're most likely here to add something, not to browse — and that's by design.

Building this site is a monumental task, undertaken so far by one person: User:Elliot Duff. Every effort begins somewhere.

If you're part of the Australian innovation ecosystem — researcher, founder, policymaker, or observer — create an account and add what you know. Check out the Introduction and Categories
